POKéMON DIAMOND/PEARL - NEW SCANS & INFO

A huge dollop of scans and info has reached Japanese shores thanks to CoroCoro, and DS-X2's top translators are on the job to make sure you get it.

Scan 1 - Scan 2 - Scan 3 - Scan 4

# Day/Night Returns: Enhanced from Gold/Silver to have multiple times of day. Nighttime, Night, Evening, Noon, Morning.
# The new region for Pearl/Diamond (Shinou) is based on the Japanese island, Hokkaido.
# A new Pokémon Professor will be in the game. His name is: Nanakamado.
# Manaphy can learn the new move, Heart Swap which swaps status effects between all Pokémon on the field.
# A new watch gadget called a Pokétchi, not only tells the time, but has over 20 Features: Time Management, Monitoring of Pokémon in the Breeding Center, Type Chart and many more.
# Buoysel is #056 in the Shinou Pokédex and knows Agility.
# Lucario knows Metal Claw.
# The Pokémon Sprites vary between Male & Female Pokémon. Different patterns are on the different genders aswell as bigger or smaller features or even missing features.
# The new Shinou region Pokedex has 2 screens similar to the Nintendo DS.
# The Pokédex now features a weight comparison feature.

I highly doubt all Pokemon are in this pair of games because you'd be able to transfer the ones from the GBA over. I think they'll include all the next generation and, hopefully, a few 2nd Generation ones too.

And about 3 on 3 battles, I got convinced it was so too. But if you look closer, its just Buizeru doing an agility attack. Proves the attacks were not given newer graphics. Bleh. And I kind of wish they put some effort into making some battle backgrounds... that would have been nice, instead of circles with random rocks and grass.
