Another one for today: TOMY Corporation announced today its line-up for the upcoming E3 Expo.
"This is a very exciting time for TOMY Corporation, as the company continues to flourish and gain momentum as a publisher of original and licensed IP, such as the beloved Naruto franchise," said Mark Shinohara, executive vice president and COO at TOMY Corporation. "Being a new exhibitor to E3, we look forward to showcasing our new titles and supporting the industry with our dedication to delivering high quality video game experiences."
TOMY is planning to show the following Nintendo DS and/or Wii titles:
- Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 (Wii)
Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is an exciting new fighting game based on the hit Naruto Shippuden series from VIZ Media. Exclusively for Wii, the classic 3D fighting game features new and improved gameplay mechanics and multiple gameplay modes, and for the first time, includes Wi-Fi multiplayer capabilities. The game follows the storyline of Naruto Shippuden and features over 30 characters who have been upgraded with more sophisticated new looks and character-specific jutsu moves. The game offers more than 40 3D environments to choose from, including nine completely new stages. Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is scheduled to release in fall 2009.
- Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 (Nintendo DS)
Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 features fast paced Naruto Shippuden 3D fighting action with the addition of an all-new Quest Mode, new characters, jutsu and a storyline based on the Naruto Shippuden animated series. The title also features wireless multiplayer gameplay, offering Naruto fans and newcomers to the series competitive 3D fighting on the Nintendo DS.
- Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 (Nintendo DS)
Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 is the first DS game to feature the Naruto Shippuden story arc, allowing fans to play as Naruto and his friends in the next generation of the series. Based on the enormously successful animated series from VIZ Media, Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 introduces consumers to a host of playable characters sporting their updated Naruto Shippuden looks, and wireless multiplayer battles for up to four players.
Aside from the above, TOMY also plans to show (at least) one PSP title:
- Pangya: Fantasy Golf (PSP)
Scheduled to release this summer exclusively for the PSP system, Pangya: Fantasy Golf lets players practice and perfect their swing on the nine fantasy fairways of Pangya Island. Combining golf gameplay, endless customization options and a slew of sassy female characters set in beautiful environments, Pangya: Fantasy Golf boasts an original storyline with new, exclusive features for the PSP system. Players can utilize the in-game Pangya Shop to customize as many as 18 playable characters and their golf equipment with thousands of unlockable accessories, outfits, gear and power items to improve their golfer's stats and land that hole-in-one.
