THIS WEEKS DSI AND WIIWARE DOWNLOADS

Let your imagination come to life in the eagerly awaited Max & the Magic Marker. You will need your quick fire fingers at the ready as you take on the fastest quick draws in the business in Fast Draw Showdown - both available to download on WiiWare this week.

And that's not all! Swim, play and relax with Electroplankton in ELECTROPLANKTON Nanocarp and ELECTROPLANKTON Trapy, also available to download on this weeks DSiWare.

WiiWare - Max & the Magic Marker
(Press Play, 1,000 Wii Points)

Did you ever dream your drawings were real? In this game they are.

One day Max gets a mysterious Marker in the mail. Not knowing better - the first thing he draws is a wacky, purple monster. But as soon as the marker leaves the paper the monster comes to life and jumps off the paper and into another drawing. With the monster on the loose and messing with Max's drawings, Max has no choice but to go after it.

Armed with the awesome weapon of the magic marker you must follow the monster through fifteen inventive and challenging levels. However, you will need more than good will and quick reflexes to tackle the challenges ahead. With the magic marker you will freely draw inside the game to help Max defeat enemies, overcome obstacles and solve puzzles.

As you draw stairs, seesaws, balloons, surfboards and whatever you can think of, your creations will interact with the physical environment, making every creation unique and no two games the same.

Play the game either as single player or two player, with one controlling Max and the other the magic marker.

WiiWare - Fast Draw Showdown
(Digital Leisure Inc, 500 Wii Points)

When it comes to fast draw there're only two types of people: the quick...and the dead! Now you have the chance to find out where you stand, or lie, as the case may be. You'll go up against the best quick draws in the business, including one of the world's fastest, Wes Flowers.

Unholster your Wii Remote and show'em who the fastest draw really is, in this live action shooter. You can even take on a friend in multiplayer modes and see which of you has the quickest draw.

You'll need some serious speed and awesome accuracy to take on these gunslingers...so get ready for some real fast draw action.

NINTENDO DSiWare - ELECTROPLANKTON Nanocarp
(Nintendo, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)

Dive into a unique audio-visual experience where technology meets art. Created by multimedia musician Toshio Iwai, Electroplankton are living aquatic 'instruments' that you interact with to produce a variety of sounds and images limited only by your imagination!

Nanocarp have very sensitive hearing, and they react to sounds like clapping or whistling. They swim in formations of 16 and emit sounds when they sense ripples on the water's surface. Their pitch changes depending on their location on the water.

Use Performance mode to create your own unique compositions, or relax with Audience mode and let the Electroplankton run wild.

NINTENDO DSiWare - ELECTROPLANKTON Trapy
(Nintendo, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)

Dive into a unique audio-visual experience where technology meets art. Created by multimedia musician Toshio Iwai, Electroplankton are living aquatic 'instruments' that you interact with to produce a variety of sounds and images limited only by your imagination!

Trapy are graceful swimmers and love to emit sounds as they follow lines traced along the water. Each of the six types of Trapy produce different tones depending on the direction they swim; they produce low pitch sounds when they swim to the right and high pitch sounds when they swim to the left.

Use Performance mode to create your own unique compositions, or relax with Audience mode and let the Electroplankton run wild.

Max and the Magic Marker sounds interesting. Kind of like some of the parts of Drawn to Life on the Wii. I'll add it to the list of things to download. Will get points at some point when I can get hold of a points card or when there isn't a big release coming up.
